Information about the British overseas territory of Saint Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha. On September 1, 2009 the name of this British territory was changed from "St. Helena and Dependencies" to "St. Helena, Ascension, and Tristan da Cunha" after a new constitution gave the three entities equal status within the territory.
