Islands off the east coast of Africa include
the Comoros Islands, Madagascar, Mauritius,
Mayotte, Reunion, the Seychelles Islands,
and Zanzibar.
Comoros Islands
Comoros is an Archipelago and island nation
off the southeast coast of Africa, on the Northern end of the
Mozambique Channel. The country's main islands
are Grande Comore (Ngazidja), Moheli (Mwali),
Anjouan (Nzwani).
Mayotte Island is also one
of the largest islands in the Comoros
Archipelago but that island is still administered
as an overseas territory of France.

A group of French-administered islands off the
southeast coast of Africa, most of which are
in the Mozambique Channel and one of which
located north of Reunion Island. Includes the
