Mokolodi Nature Reserve
- 12,500 acre reserve about 15 kilometers south of Gabarone
- The roads are best driven in a 4 wheel drive vehicle
- Reserve offers tours in their safari vehicles or on foot
- Some tour include a "bush braai" (barbeque)
- Has camping facilities and 5 chalets
- Mokolodi Restaurant at the gate is nice
- Plenty of ghame and many photo opportunities

Three Dikgosi Monument
- Also known as the "Three Chiefs Monunent"
- One of the most visited sites in Gabarone
- Statues were inaugerated 2005 September 29 by Botswnaa President Festus Mogae
-Features statues of three of the founding fathers of Botswana:
- Khama III of the Bangwato
- Sebele I of Bakwena
- Bathoeng I of Bangwaketse,
- Three bronze statues about 18 feet tall
They traveled to the UK to stop Botswana from being incorporated into Rhodesia (today Zimbabwe) or South Africa.

Botswanacraft
Established in 1970 by the Botswana Development Corporation to develop and support the country's rural-based handicraft industry Today it is Botswana's largest retailer and exporter of Botswana handicrafts. Privately owned since 1993 and today it sells crafts made in Botswana and crafts made in other developing countries in Southern Africa. Has a shop selling Botswana's famous baskets and other crafts, the Courtyard Restaurant serving breakfast and lunch, and a cultural and performance venue. Located on Magochanyama Road.

Academic institution with four Botswana campuses, two in the city of Gabarone, one in Francistown, and one in Maun.
