Chobe Game Lodge
Only game lodge within the bondaries of
Chobe National Park. Situated on the banks
of the Chobe River, about 20 kilometers
upstream from the point where the Chobe
River and Zambezi River come together.
Offers accommodations in forty-seven rooms.
The lodge has a swimming pool and rates
include all meals, local brand beverages,
park entrance fees, and unlimited activities,
including game drives and small-boat
game-viewing cruses on the Chobe River.
Chobe Safari Lodge
Accommodations in traditional thatched rondavels,
hotel rooms in a two story complex,
and 46 luxury safari rooms with private patios.
Located on the banks of the Chobe river near the
spot where four countries come together:
Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, and Zambia.
Rates are about $150 to $200 per night
for a room, less then $20 pr night for a camp site,
plus between $80 and $90 for three meals a day.
Activities such as game drives and game viweing
cruises are about $30 to $40 per person.
Garden Lodge on the Chobe River
Four double rooms and four family size rooms, all
with private bathrooms and private verandas overlooking
the Chobe River. Activities include game viewing from
vehicles and from boats in Chobe National Park.
Located on the Banks of the Chobe River, about
2 kilometers from Chobe National Park,
70 kilometers from Victoria Falls, and 16 kilometers
from the point where four countries come together.
Mowana Safari Lodge
Luxury safari lodge built around a mowana tree (baobab tree).
Activities include fishing trips and sightseeing
cruises which depart from their dock.
Located near Chobe National Park, between
the Impalila Conservancy and the Mowana Golf Course.
Kubu Lodge
Small lodge situated on the banks of the
Chobe River. Offers accommodations in
elevated, thatched cottages in a tree
shaded area. Facilities and amenities
include a swimming pool and a restaurant
serving European and African dishes.
Located in Kazungula Village, near the northern edge of
Chobe National Park, near
Botswana's border with Zambia.
Last time I checked, daily rates were between $250 and $400
plus about $70 per day for lunch and dinner,
with game drives, game criises, and
most other excursions costing between $10 to $50
per person.
Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero
Luxury lodge and spa offering
accommodations in fifteen guest cottages.
Facilities and amenities on the property
include a full service spa,
a split level swimming pool, and a gourmet restaurant.
Last tme I checked, their rates rangef from about
$700 to $1000 per day, and they
included all meals,
park fees, and morning and afternoon
gae drives.
Senyati Safari Camp
Offers accommodations in nine thatched camping
platforms with sinks and and and three bungalows
with two burner stoves. The camp has an elevated bar
overlooking a waterhole that is lighted at night
for game viewing. Located in the Lesoma Valley, just outside
the Kasane Forest Reserve, which is adjacent
to Chobe National Park. Can only be
reached by four wheel drive vehicle.
Toro Safari Lodge
Affordable safari lodge situated on the banks of the
Chobe River offering accommodations in
hotel rooms, bungalows, and camp sites.
Water Lily Lodge
Two story lodge built around a central courtyard
offering accommodations in ten rooms, all
with private bathrooms. Situated on the banks
of the Chobe River and located near Chobe
National Park in the town of Kasane.
